At Green Drop, supporting the communities where we live and work isn’t just something we talk about—it’s something we show up for.

Green Drop and Buzz Boss team members volunteering at the Regina Food Bank in Regina, Saskatchewan

Recently, the Green Drop Regina team, in collaboration with our partners, Buzz Boss, spent the day volunteering at the Regina Food Bank, providing hands-on support to help local Regina families access essential food services.

For many households across Regina, food banks provide critical, day-to-day support. And behind every donation or packed box is a network of people working hard to make sure no one in the community is left behind.

For the team, the experience went beyond volunteering; it reinforced the role local businesses play in strengthening the Regina, Saskatchewan community.

“As a business, we play an important role in the community, so it’s crucial that we give back in any way possible,” said Brennen Hensel of Green Drop Regina. “We want to help the people who help us. This is where we live, and these are the people who live here with us. That’s the value of a community, helping our neighbours and being there for one another.”

Supporting Local Families, One Box at a Time

During their time at the Regina Food Bank, the team helped pack and organize food hampers for distribution to families across the city.

Each box prepared was destined for a household in need, providing not just food but a sense of support and care during challenging times.

“The best moment was knowing that each box we packed was going to a local Regina family,” Hensel shared. “We packed a couple hundred boxes and loaded several pallets in just a few hours. That’s hundreds of families we were able to help feed.”

It’s a simple act, but one that carries real impact.

Committed to Regina Beyond Lawn Care
